Workbook Detailed description of the activity Ask participants to think about one type of volunteering they have done or, in case they haven’t done it, to think about any of the jobs they have developed. Hand out to participants the Self-assessment grid and ask them to complete some cells of the grid relating to the competencies developed in the position they have thought of. Then discuss with them about the design of the grid: - Do you think the grid is complete enough to be used by volunteers as an effective tool for self- assessment? - How could you improve it? - Do you think this tool would be useful for volunteers collaborating with your entity? - Etc.
