Detailed description of the activity Aim of the activity: The aim is to create a methodology for proactive engagement with and outreach to migrant women. Preparation: The trainer will explain the activity and inform participants about the time limit. Steps and instructions: Step 1 : The trainer will divide participants into two group. One of the groups will be asked to develop a strategy on recruitment of migrant women, while the second group will be asked to create a strategy on sustaining women and their engagement with organisations. Step 2 : Groups will be provided with following questions written on small cards: For the first group: a. What exactly do you imagine should be done to recruit migrant women? b. What concrete steps should be followed? c. Which people in your organisation should lead this process? d. What timeline do you consider for engagement process? e. What kind of resources do you need (in your organisation) to engage with migrant women? For the second group: a. What exactly do you imagine should be done to sustain migrant women’s engagement with organisations? b. What concrete steps should be followed? c. Who should be responsible in leading this process in your organisation? d. Which resources do you need to sustain migrant women’s engagement?
