Detailed description of the activity Aim of the activity: The aim of this brainstorming is to make participants identify the problems migrant women face and encourage them to think about their own roles in improving conditions of migrant women. Preparation : The trainer should explain the process and structure of the session and inform the participants about the time limit. The trainer should follow the discussion without judgements and minimum intervention. Steps and instructions: Step 1: Idea Generation about following questions:  What are the main challenges in volunteering migrant women face in your view?  What is the role of civil society organisations and NGOs in fostering social and economic integration of highly educated migrant women? (the aim is to make participants think about skill development and the role of volunteering in that). Step 2: Their comments should be noted by the scribe. Step 3: Idea Grouping (Structuring ideas into common themes) The answers for these two questions will be grouped and participants examine the ideas one by one and further comment on them. Step 4 : Idea Review (identifying common and most important ideas) At this stage participants will be asked to review the ideas and identify the most important ones. Step 5: Brainstorming session will be finalised with a visible output (with flipcharts). This activity will help the trainer to observe what participants know about the challenges migrant women face and what can be done to help especially highly educated migrant women.
