Duration The training will be organised in three different sessions that are expected to be held within a period of approximately two months. Each of the sessions will be devoted to the presentation and study of one specific unit and will have an estimated duration of 3 – 4 hours. Concrete scheduling for each of the sessions is clearly defined in the Lesson Plan document prepared by the creator of each unit and available in this guide. Participants For the implementation of the training, 8 – 10 people must take part in the sessions. This training will be targeted to participants from business or business training organisations as well as to business advisors and staff from independent incubators. Methodology The overall methodology underpinning the whole project is rooted in behavioural economics that link social-personal factors with the decisions taken by individuals in their professional domains. It is this approach to social integration that offers a comprehensive understanding of civic/cultural/social participation of individuals combined with their economic and professional choices. Within this framework, the training delivered will rely on a methodology that will promote self-learning and help students develop critical thinking skills and retain knowledge that can be later applied to their working realities. This will be reached through the implementation of a blended learning methodology. Indeed, even though the hard core of the training will be implemented by facilitators through face-to-face sessions with the characteristics and duration explained above, in between the face-to-face training sessions, participants are expected to visit the online platform of the project 1 . On this platform, the target groups will find resources complementing their learner materials and the success stories posted by the female migrants involved in the project. Moreover, they will be given the opportunity to interact with other participants, thus bringing together the three target groups of the project in order to put SMART Volunteering into practice. 1 https://www.smartvolunteering.eu/en/e-learning
